Hill Audio SMA1520 15″ Powered Speakers

A powerful full range 15 inch cabinet suitable for pro DJ’s live performers and speech reproduction. A punchy lightweight cabinet packed with features. The 15″ driver is powered by a 250 watt Class D amplifier and the 1.35″ compression driver is powered by a 50 watt AB amplifier with a lightweight switching supply. Designed in the UK by Hill Audio the engineers have produced a cabinet with all the features needed to suit most applications. A unique 3 channel input section has been designed with an advanced high headroom analogue pre-amplifier circuit. Channel 1 can be used for a Mic or line input and has volume, ground lift and high frequency cut controls. A jack or XLR connector can be used with a direct line output for connection to other cabinets; this is particularly useful when the SMA1520 is being used for monitor playback. Channel 2 has a 3.5mm jack or RCA input with volume control and channel 3 allows 1/4 jacks to be used with the left as a mono if required. The sound section has low and high frequency cut & boost and a switch for music & speech which will adjust the frequency response depending on the application. There is a low frequency cut switch if the cabinet is being used with a sub-woofer. Simply connect a XLR to the link output section, a switch for full range or sub-woofer can be used. When in full range mode the link output can be used as a mono output for channel 1, 2 and 3 or can be used as the right output for channels 2 & 3. So a great sounding cabinet with superb dynamics and no harsh high frequencies for DJ’s, musicians, aerobics classes and much more.
